Best BBQ around. Definitely a must try if you are anywhere close to Katy, Texas. Try the beef rib! It’s huge and amazing!!!! You will not be disappointed with anything you try.

My cholesterol is through the roof, however, they provide some good food. Their brisket enchiladas are absolutely amazing.

Finally got around to checking out Brett's Barbecue Shop!  I arrived around 11:15 am on a Saturday and got hella lucky with a parking spot.  Right upfront!  And the 7th person in line.  Technically, I should have been 3rd but some people just don't know how to line up properly.  Funny, how I've driven down this area many times and I've never noticed this place.   Anyhoos, I ordered their 2 meat plate with brisket, pork ribs, slaw and mac & cheese.  Loved the sides!  The slaw was pretty unique.  Not your typical slaw served here.  Some of the ingredients in the slaw included red and green bell peppers, red onions and carrots.  Probably one of the best tasting slaws I've ever had.  The mac was just as impressive.  Cheesy, creamy and peppery.  The brisket was definitely a 10.  Perfectly seasoned, smoked and just the right amount of fatty goodness.  I was a little disappointed with the pork ribs.  It was a tad undercooked.  It could have definitely been left in the smoker a tad longer.  But, it was seasoned pretty well.  I also got to try a piece of their burnt ends which was heavenly. Like everyone says.  The place is pretty small and the strip center parking lot blows.  They also crank up the music inside so it's rather hard to hear sometimes.  Especially if you're sitting near the speaker/tv.  Or, maybe that's just my old age showing.  The entire staff is extremely friendly and they do offer free beer (Miller Lite, Lone Star...). I was really hoping to grab some puffy tacos at Los Muertos B...
