Went there for the first time and tried their catfish special. I ordered fries and coleslaw with it, but got fries and okra. Both sides had too much salt, but that fish and hush puppies were good.

Food is good, just not great. Store was clean. Noticed they have lunch specials so may have to try them out next time.

Wow harsh reviews. I've actually never had a bad experience at Brookstreet BBQ. While it is a little pricey, it does the job. In my opinion they have the best bbq sauce ever. Brookstreet is a victim of the expansion that has taken place in misisouri city and Sugarland and yes over the years it has slipped and become expensive, especially with covid. They are still milking the covid thing with MP brisket.. But overall it's still good. I'm just really surprised by the reviews.
