Since moving to Los Angeles from the Chicago suburbs, there are only two or three foods that I really actively miss, and one of those is cold Brown's chicken and Brown's mushrooms. I grew up getting their day-old chicken, and now I will actually pick some up on the day that I'm flying home and take it with me in my suitcase. What can I say, it's delicious! (Plus I enjoy the funny looks I get at security.) This location is usually staffed by one person when I stop by, occasionally two. They probably have busier times - hopefully, because I don't want them to close down - but it's usually quiet when I'm there. The gentleman who runs it is very nice and friendly. KFC and Popeye's do not measure up to Brown's. So go get some chicken and help keep them in business!
