What did I like? The convenience in distance from my room. This place is a hotel restaurant....enough said. The menu was decent but the food was bland. I ordered the Salmon dish. The rice needed salt, the broccolini was just okay. The salmon was aweful......I really wish I had gone somewhere else.i had to ask for salt, pepper,  and Tabasco sauce and lemon! The little bit of veggies they put on it that was listed...egg plant, onions, and olives were good. Not happy...                   Now the drinks. I wanted to order a vodka and pineapple juice but was told they did not have pineapple juice at this time. So I got the Berry lemonade. Strong and delicious! Thank you bartender for making this meal. Those stars are for the bartender. 2.5 I will say the manager did great all the guest so customers service was pretty nice.

I stayed at this Hilton and Bruins was convenient for dinner.  I have a gluten allergy so I was happy to see that they offered gluten-free choices.  I ordered a hamburger without the bun.  It looked fine and safe for me to eat.  However, I have a meter that detects gluten and my meter showed that my burger was positive for gluten and therefore, I could not eat it.  I was not charged for the meal. Note to Bruins:  Please train your staff appropriately if you are going to advertise "gluten-free" on your menu.  People with gluten allergies will get very sick if they consume gluten, even if there is cross-contamination.

Staying at the Hilton Anchorage for a few days. Every once in awhile I try to eat at the hotel restaurant where I'm staying but am regretting my choice on this particular evening. I ordered the Thai Prawn/shrimp bowl to go and was extremely disappointed. This was a $37 meal that was presented more like a $10 meal from a buffet. Extremely over priced and not fresh. The 5 prawns were decent size but the vegetables were more like an old mixture of very very thinly slic...
