Came in early Thursday morning to get gas and a newspaper before I headed out of town. The newspaper’s were not out and when asked, they were looking like I asked for a kidney. The first clerk didn’t have a clue what “The Facts” was and we had a whole lesson as to that being the newspaper My daughter was in the sports section and I’d already gotten one at another store but needed that for my mom because she doesn’t live in the area and I only had 2 bucks cash. Now I was shocked because I thought papers were only that much on a Sunday with coupons. But anyway I knew I’d gas up and head out from Buccees. I was finally told that the papers were in the back where the supervisor was conducting an interview! What?! Why?! I left without a paper and that made absolutely no sense to me whatsoever. I’m not overreacting because I have a better expectation for this place and I know this indeed can not be tolerated as the standard.

As much as I like this company, it's management is unresponsive AF. If you have a problem, good luck with getting ANY response. There's no one to talk to, no phone number to call, no social media account to contact, nothing. I've only ever seen one (1) manager, over the years, in any of their stores. There are days that I wonder if there are managers, supervisors, or whatever. As bright and smiling as the employees are, they maintain a "stay in my lane" attitude, and don't interact with their teammates. If you need something remedied , you'd have a better chance by talking to a dead horse. The three star is only because of how clean the store is and...
