I got the duck noodle soup, which is what they're known for here. They speak both Vietnamese and English but the person who served me didn't speak English too well so I pointed at what I wanted and he got the gist. I wasn't offered any water refill nor napkins and he didn't come by and check on me at all so the service wasn't the best. If I'm talking on food alone, some parts of my duck was gristle/bone and not much meat, and some were all meat. The salad I ate some of, but the star of the show was the soup. I loved the duck broth. This meal was good for the cold front that just rolled into Houston. More misses than hits for my first experience here.

To any of you who are familiar with the smell of goats - not as in goat meat, but as in livestock in a pen - if you enjoy that smell, this place is for you. It was explained to me that this is the odor and flavor of dried bamboo - guess I hadn't previously been exposed to it. I like to be open-minded, but this was not a pleasant experience, and I was unfortunately captive by my...

Drove 40 minutes to something that I just can't recommend to the general public. No thank you. Though I will say the hot tea was delightful.
