ButterBurr's is a Pocatello cult classic. Everyone claims to love it and would be heartbroken if it went away. Unfortunately, it's just okay. Lickety split is a quick & easy stop that skips the wait time typical of the restaurant's sit down version. I ordered the SST and chose the potato bacon soup, French dip sandwich and a cinnamon twist. The soup is gelatinous which leads me to believe it uses cornstarch as a shortcut instead of a roux to thicken. It does have great flavor though. The French dip came out on their homemade bread. The bread is delicious, but not right for a French dip as it was soggy before I could even try dipping. I will sa...
