I have always loved the food here. but today was the end... I ordered my favorite shrimp & avocado salad and it was wilted and the avocados were way past ripe. this was a call in order for carryout and it was the first time they required me to give them a credit card. I pay cash for all of my meals. I was not a happy camper. I have lived in the Bellaire/Meyerland neighborhood my whole 70 year life. Cafe Express has lost me as a customer!

I ordered salmon, mashed potatoes and green beans. So yeah, never order from here. Look at the size of my salmon. It was $20.

First time to visit café express since before the Covid time. Such friendly staff very welcoming and kind. We had the salmon with two sides and it was excellent. Also very reasonably priced I thought. I will definitely come back. Peaceful atmosphere.
