Cajun Crawfish #1 in Houston

The first time I tried here was last week everything was okay enough for me to go back on today To try the crawfish I ordered 6 pounds which they say buy 5 pounds get one free he told me that only apply if I call in a order which didn’t make sense cus I ordered online but ok fast forward … I get home start to eat the crawfish half of them dead no tail or cracked all up some ice cold mind you I live 2minutes from this place so at this point I’m guessing they use the same crawfish from the day before because the crawfish was so mushy some hot some literally extremely cold as if they tried to warm it back up and some warmed and some didn’t … my stomach is hurting so bad I pray I don’t get sick I only ate a few I couldn’t eat anymore of it and I’ll never go there ever again it’s many other places you can go to also check your food before leave

If you come here expecting Louisiana style crawfish, this is not the place! I tried this place because of the reviews, but was disappointed. Their crawfish lack flavor. You can tell it does not soak in spices. I gave them the benefit of the doubt but I should've never had my hopes up. There were red flags: different spice levels and it comes with a container of butter and seasoning. I knew something wasn't right because I couldn't smell the loud crawfish boil aroma! Back home when we buy crawfish, you will smell it regardless if you opened the bag!

This place has the absolute BEST boiled shrimp at the best prices. Went there the week after Thanksgiving to find they were temporarily closed and tried a couple other places (which shall remain nameless) but those places simply didn’t measure up to the flavor and value we get at Cajun Crawfish #1. I’m sorry I lived around here for about a year before I finally tried it!
