Great food. Terrible service. Caldera is apparently shifting to ordering online. My phone doesn't function that way. The waiter's response: Maybe your friend can help you. A loud voice waiter interrupted our conversation to ask if everything was OK. It was not ok. The restaurant is not huge; one waiter could handle it easily (as I did in college many years ago). There was no need for the abrupt, rude treatment we received. Sorry, that was our last visit to this place.

Great Micro-Brewery In Ashland! SITREP I had heard a lot about this local brewery from my lovely Yelpie Alexis, so when I finally was passing through the Rogue River Valley, it was an opportune time to meet up with her and check it out THE SETUP Though known locally for it's brews, I was actually impressed with it's food selection, to wit: * The White Truffle Mac N' Cheese - absolutely creamy and outstanding - I'd totally get this dish again. yelp.com/biz_photos/cald… * The Blue Cheese Mushroom Caps with Arigula - tasty tasty tasty! And I dunno...I might get that next time too! yelp.com/biz_photos/cald… P-A-T-I-O! Huge patio for patrons to sit outside and enjoy their drinks & food and watch a Rogue River Valley Twilight set in. PARKING They have their own spacious lot - definitely a plus since all 4 times I was here there was never a problem finding parking even though the venue was full the last 2 times we were there. THE LOWDOWN Find time to make Caldera Brewery & Restaurant a stop on your journey since it is just a short exit ramp off I-5. ;)
