My wife is 5 months pregnant and was craving for avocado roll. I surprise her by ordering roll for her however I didn't read the menu carefully and there was bacon in that. I called restaurant and informed them about the situation.Restaurant Manager John was so good. He replaced the order and personally Delivered the new order to my wife in the mall. Excellent customer service by John. True asset to the company. It was my first time ordering the food from this restaurant but surely it won't be the last time.

There's definitely a reason they filed for bankruptcy. The only reason I ordered from California Pizza Kitchen is because I've had a gift card for years, was in the area, and was worried they would close down and I would be out my $50. But the meal wasn't even worth it with the gift card. We got takeout because Covid. And even so, I wouldn't really want to eat there and spend more money on drinks. We ordered the Spinach and Artichoke Dip, BBQ Chicken Pizza, and The Works. The Spinach and Artichoke Dip wasn't very good.... How do you mess that up?? Obviously it's gonna be microwaved. But that wasn't even the issue... It had a weird buttery flavor. And the pizza... Little Caesars would have been better! The crust was so chewy it hurt my jaw and the toppings didn't have any flavor. It was worse than the frozen ones you buy at Kroger for $5. And the restaurant ones cost $15! If they drop the prices by a third, it might be acceptable. But I still won't eat there. Good riddance, CPK.
