This is such a cute shop but everytime I go my coffee smells and tastes "off" Like there is an issue with the water itself. Just pop open the lid and smell your coffee next time. It's also pretty dirty here. I dropped my bag on the floor and it was covered in old dust. None of the tables get bussed. I wouldn't come back here until I felt like this place could pass a health inspection on a random visit.

Space: ADORABLE space to study. It's a converted house, and has many rooms with cozy study spaces. There are a good number of smaller tables that fit 2 people, and a few that can fit more. It may be hard to fit a large study group here. The atmosphere is cozy but there is some nice relatively upbeat music going. Has outdoor seating as well, if Houston weather permits. Service: Friendly baristas! Super nice and helpful. Price: Competitive price to other coffee chains. Americanos start around $3.25 and their specialty coffees start a little higher. The Cafe de Olla is amazing at $3.50 and has a free refill! Coffee: I think their coffee is really good. Americanos are sometimes bitter as I normally drink my coffee black, but it was not bitter at all here. Great quality coffee. Parking: Not too bad - there is parking around the coffeeshop, but neighborhood parking is easy to find. tl;dr an adorable coffeeshop to study or work. Great ambiance. Easy to get work done here. Great coffee!

Campesino Coffee House is near my summer gig, lucky me! The service was great and I am just happy that I found this place. I needed a midday coffee drink to stay awake through the rest of the day. Also so that I could survive the very, very frozen office that I have. Seriously, its an icebox. I ordered a MAYA MOCHA LATTE: Think of a typical mocha latte. Then add cayenne, cinnamon, and maybe paprika to the flavor profile and you'll have it. It's also known as a Mexican or Aztec mocha or hot chocolate. Well, you get the idea. That is the coffee house menu description, and I definitely got the idea. Hehe. The drink was delicious. I shall return. Great reviews on the tamales so I may try them next time.
