Yes, it really is a hardware store and a restaurant! Also known as "Screw and Brew"! Counter service with outdoor seating. Excellent fish and chips and onion rings.

For thirteen years, we've been making a trip to the Brew & Screw part of a day at Cannon (usually after making room for tots and beer on the beach bikes). TLDR version; great tots and fries and other things, decent if small beer selection, and nice people. They have really thought about their pandemic preparations, and while it detracts a bit from the experience of eating in the hardware store, I definitely felt safe and respected as a customer. The tots are our traditional go-to-fare, along with fries and the occasional patty melt. They are golden brown and delicious and the ranch is awesome. If you can't enjoy sea air, warm tots, and a cold beer while sitting in the sun on the coast, then nothing's going to help you.

Very disappointed with customer service this year with the front register lady. She was is extremely rude, rush, and short with my order. I had kindly requested a bag so sand doesn't get into my food she started arguing with me and was passively aggressive. We come here every year and just very disappointed by the hospitality given.
