My wife and I moved up here from Greensboro two years ago. G’boro’s burger game is on point, and my wife and I enjoy good burgers! We went for dinner and drinks. Dinner was very good. We had Belgian fries with four dipping sauces which was outstanding. We especially enjoyed the citrus-cayenne and roasted garlic sauces. The Wurst platter was the best platter and the Margherita flatbread pizza was very generous portionwise and very tasty as well. The service was excellent.The only mar in the experience was the beer and it's a big one. Several beers on the menu were unavailable and half of the remaining beer and ales were warm due to a "mechanical" issue with refrigeration. Of course the half that was affected were the styles that we drink. If your business is the Capital Ale House, you should make sure you have the inventory and capacity of beer and ale, not to mention monitoring and insuring that your product is cold. There are a lot of brew pubs in the Richmond area that would love to take your customers from you.
