If I could leave zero stars I would. I am from portland and never felt judged about my skin color until I came here. The staff here on on a Sunday night were so unwelcoming. Literally just trying to have a drink near my hotel. That happened but not before my partner and I felt very unwelcome. They put the closed sign on the counter right next to us and sat in a huge circle full of only white people like the other people were intruding. Felt gross. Good bye. Glad this was at the end of our trip

We were searching for something not too crowded with some food for our overnight stay in Astoria, this was a short walk from our hotel and everything else Saturday was completely swamped. The food was so disappointing. The "stuffed peppers" was a single bell pepper, for $15, with a kind of meatball-like substance inside that tasted like it was cooked in rancid oil. The "corn chips" it was served with was a literal single serving bag of Fritos. Fritos are technically corn, but maybe just say Fritos so we know what to expect? The "lamb gyros" was a single gyro, it was fine, but for $13something it was not enough food for my slender husband, we were both still hungry after spending $30 on dinner, I gave him most of my dinner and ate mostly just the green pepper itself, which was tasty. I realize food service is hard right now, and we appreciate whatever we can get, but this really felt like being tricked. Maybe it is a purposeful tourist trap so that it remains a local joint. I was confused by the 10 Barrel sign and thought it was related to that venue since we couldn't find a sign with the actual name of the place anywhere? We have a house next to 10 Barrel in Bend. The locals seem to be very happy playing pool here and I loved the decorations.

Open late which is good, but the vibe felt a little off, didn’t feel like staying long
