I was really surprised with their gumbo. It was so good and flavorful---I see why everyone was ordering it. We also split a fish and shrimp basket. It was ok, I could have just stuck with the gumbo...

BE AWARE !!!!I came for lunch today they broke into my truck.I was only there for 45 minutes.I spoke to the Manager he said that it is normal they break into cars and trucks all theTime .They steal Catalytic converters and personalBelongings.They have no security and cameras only view closest to restaurant.Needless to say I will not be returning to this location .

Great fried shrimp, great service! My go-to fried shrimp place has been closed some decided to try Captain Benny's after passing it so often. Will be back.
