Always a treat to go here. It's basically a boat shaped seafood bar. I like the catfish filet, crisp coating with yummy tartar served on side with good hot fries. I also like the stuffed crab. Hear the gumbo is great. Have never been disappointed. Love the waiters. They do a great job. Prices are great. Good place to meet people. A Houston gem for sure. Very unique. GO!

I just had to try Captain Tom's Seafood & Oyster Bar because the building, which looks like a ship was calling my name. There, I had their seafood gumbo, which was okay but not fabulous. Still, the serving was generous and the turnaround from the time I placed my order was pretty quick. They've a decent menu and their prices are fair and reasonable. I'd go back again.
