Everything we ate was delicious, great quantity, and beautiful presentation.

Highly disappointed at this restaurantIs highly overrated and overprised. We stopped in for Friday night happy hour. The hostess at the door told us it was open seating in the bar sit anywhere you like.Unfortunately, many of the seats including at the bar itself were marked reserved.I've been in dive bars that were nicer than this bar.The bar top was filthy food plastered on the tile look like hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The chairs in the bar were old and wobbly. Not good for a high end restaurant bar.I asked the bartender what the happy hour specials were?He replied, no Specials. He then proceeded to up sell me on some fancy Margarita. After pausing for a moment I showed him the happy hour specials listed on their app website. He then decided to get me the happy hour rate on the Margarita. Not happy at...

I am uncertain how individuals wrote their reviews on this  restaurant.  They must have ate somewhere else.  Maybe I ate at another restaurant with the same name.  The food from Caracol restaurant  was far from 4 stars as you can get.  We went for lunch,Houston restaurant week. We had the soup  and watermelon salad.  Cubed watermelon, very exciting.  The soup as ok, lukewarm.  We had the duck leg, wow it was so dry it was almost jerky.  The ribs and the enchiladasr deconstructed was just lacking in favor and it was mediocre at best.  Really disappointed.  It must have been left over from the lunch rush.  We arrived around 2pm.  Maybe the chef had the day off.  If not it is a real shame he allowed that food to leave his kitchen.
