I haven’t been to her location since COVID restrictions where lifted, however it being a new year I figured why not. I ordered a large order of oxtails as they are usually the best in this side of town. Let me tell you how the oxtails where extremely fatty. The rice was lumpy and with Lima beans. The cabbage had an entire 1/8 of a green pepper slice in it. Not to mention the oxtails where NOT cooked to a tenderness that it’s know for a her location. Lord help me if she sold the place. Does anyone know?

I frequent Carenas fairly often. I understand we're going through an adjustment due to the pandemic. However, I tried calling to place my order the phone either would ring with a message stating please be patient and call back. I did that for 30 minutes, never got through.i proceeded to head over to the restaurant, they have signs posted to call first. How can I call if I can't get through? I stood in the long line. I finally get to the window. I wasn't greeted with any "Thank you for being patient or welcome".
