These people are incredibly stupid. The servers are all amateurs that were hired because they're cheap and will take abuse. They don't know the menu, they aren't friendly or informative, they run songs in a desperate panic providing lame service and everything takes forever. I'm telling you, this place SUCKS. I've been there twice, booth times the food took over thirty minutes and was plain and flavorless. The server lied to me, claiming they don't sell pizza by the slice, just to con me into buying something more expensive. When I confronted her, she smiled as if to call me the sucker I guess I was. I even emailed the owner to say how dissatisfied I am, and what I got was a mansplaination about how they have this menu in the day and that menu at dinner WHICH HAD NOTHING...

I've had great pizza at Carluccis in the past. Maybe that's what I should have stuck to. I tried their lasagna last week and I have to say I was extremely disappointed. It's served in a casserole dish. The lasagna lacked all of the fillings you normally get in a traditional lasagna. It was layers of dough without sauce in between. Flecks of cooked ground meat without sauce. Flecks of what was supposed to be ricotta cheese. I couldn't tell because there was barely a white speck of something without any flavor. The only sauce and cheese was on the top of the casserole. So I basically paid for a dish of layered dough. It was an obvious rip off. I will never have a pasta dish there of any kind again.

They have excellent food. I had the octopus salad and that was amazing. Even the Greek salad was great, right amount of dressing and big size (had the small). Pizza is excellent. Our favorite in Fort Lauderdale and Pompano. Main dishes are authentic Italian and big portions. Marcus was our waiter and he was the best! Super friendly and efficient. Highly recommend this place!
