There's TWO Carmine's Pizzerias within a short distance of each other in Far North Dallas. One is on Coit & Campbell and is apparently run by horrendous people who curse out their customers and don't sell individual slices (can't decide which is worse). THIS LOCATION is near Alpha and Montfort and does NOT curse out their customers and DOES serve individual slices. The pizza here is very, VERY NYC style. Being from NY, I appreciate the slightly droopy thin base that requires two hands to hold and the crispy crust that makes folding this slice in half a perfect meal. We ordered a large pepperoni pie with half sauce and half no sauce (my crazy son!) and two soft drinks. The pizza came out in about 10-15 minutes which was nice. The bill came to $19.97 which seems fair, especially considering the entire pizza had been consumed. The pizza was good but not quite 5 star in my vast pizza experience. The owners/operators were also very nice. When I'm in the mood for straight NY style pizza, I'll definitely come back.
