My wife, mother-in-law and I were heading to dinner at another restaurant and traffic was really slow, so we changed plans and came to Carrol's Creek Cafe. Best decision!! For starters we enjoyed oysters, crab cakes and scallops.. For our entrees I had the shrimp over penne pasta with andouille sausage, Tasso ham, onions, peppers, shiitake mushrooms and finished with a white wine shrimp cream sauce. Julie and her mom had the special, lobster tail with crab cakes. Everything was cooked perfectly. For dessert there was creme Brule, apple tart and I had the bread pudding with ice cream and a Makers Mark cream drizzle. Johnny was our waiter and he did rock star status, taking care of us, suggestions on dinner and keeping our drinks full. He deserves 10 stars. Thank you, Johnny.
