Carson Kitchen in Alpharetta

Got there at 5:45 tonight (our reservation was at 6:00 for four people). the restaurant is pretty empty. The manager (Bre) puts us in a 6 top right by the front door. I had a 5 minutes argument with her that I didn't want to seat in a 6 top, when it's only 4 people and besides there were at least 5 to 6 empty 4 tops tables. But she refused to accommodate us. I had been in restaurant business for many years and I must say, her logic was nothing short of stupid!! So, we sat there to have dinner and every time the door opened, cold air was hitting my face, meanwhile I'm looking at all these empty tables that she could have sat us. For that reason alone, I'm not coming back! And by the way, the menu is limited and expensive. Service however, was great!!

Service was great. Food was unnecessarily spicy. If you like spicy then is a great option, yet most plates like the fried chicken in the Chicken and Waffles, the Italian Sausage Flat bread and the Rainbow Cauliflower were sweat and red cheeks spicy. The Garbage Hash was tasty, and the egg was cooked perfect. The Mac & Cheese Waffle was dry, the Tempura Green Beans was very dense and oily, the Flat Bread was bland and very chard. The drinks were MARVELOUS. We came for brunch and they didn’t have Bacon, Oatmeal or Prosciutto… that was a bummer. Has 2 vegan options.

I have been to Carson Kitchen about 20 times.  If I was giving this review the first five times I went it would be a 5/5 -its that good, however the quality and service has changed slightly. Their chicken sandwich is probably the best I've ever had and I kept coming back for it, but the last three times it was over cooked and rubbery. I even mentioned it to our server and  manager, but it was overcooked the next week again.  ...and a month later.  I just dont order it anymore...The other food that they offer changes mon...
