Caruso's Italian Restaurant in Albuquerque

We have been going to Caruso's since my parents moved here in 1975 and had a great relationship with the owner and the staff. Yesterday we called in an order because of Covid and wanted great food as usual. They told us because of being short of help it would be 45 minutes. We stoped by about 1 hour to give them some time and was told it would be a little longer. I noticed that when I arrived they had just put in my order right then. I sat in the waiting chairs by the front door for another 30 minutes and went to talk to the person that was only putting together forks and knives in napkins for the tables and asked if he knew how long it would be and a woman rushed up and started yelling at me that I was being rude and she will get to me when she felt like it. I had already paid for our food, otherwise I would have walked out. She was way out there treating me like I was dirt. I have never been treated so badly. Wish THE DAILY GRIND would have never taken over this great place. WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!! They should FIRE this rude woman before she drives all their loyal customers away and go out of business. SO SAD TO NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. Still had good food. Will go to OIVE GARDEN next time.

The fried mushrooms were super soggy. The salad was nothing more than lettuce and the spaghetti was questionable. My spaghetti meat sauce was runny. My husband's ravioli was over cooked and country music blaring in the background. I've had real Italian spaghetti and ravioli and this place was pitiful. Will not eat here again.

Rude! Evil! Waste of time and money.Minus 20 stars for hateful, pompous, snooty staff. Snippy with us when we ordered. No refills to water.Expected delicious, authentic Italian food.... WHAT WAS ALWAYS SERVED by the Venaglia family. Not even close.Cold spaghetti floating in alfredo sauce straight from the Ragu bottle. Tasteless. Dining companion had spaghetti with meat sauce. Also from the can.The fat little demon server and her wicked helper glared at us the whole time we were eating.Windows and floors were FIL THY! that usually means the kitchen is filthy. Cook wore his mask around his chin.Stay away! Save your money. Even olive garden is better than this dive.
