Food and service was top notch.  The wine list is extensive and very expensive.  I had the bolognese which was ok, but we also had the fettuccine with lobster on it, and that was amazing.  Be prepared to spend $200+ per person with drinks/wine.  I will definitely return; I used to eat at the FL location when I lived in Lauderdale.

My wife and I are absolute "foodies". We'll fly to Peru just to get good ceviche. Need a restaurant recommendation in New York City, we've probably been there. We know this restaurant by way of their other restaurants in South Florida Which are outstanding. We were surprised to hear that they opened Aspen and had to give it a shot. They did not disappoint at all. Even in the middle of everything going on these days, they have absolutely top-notch service and the food was outstanding. They are in the top tier of Aspen restaurants!

I preferred the foie gras accompanied with a Sauternes wine.  It melted in my mouth, like butter.  My husband ordered the veal chop which was stuffed with prosciutto and cheese. One of the best chops we've ever had. I ordered the Branzino encrusted with salt and a dough crust  beautifully unwrapped by the server and it was so delightful. This dinner was over the top! Im not one for dessert but we decided on the tiramisu.  Holy cow, that was a delight for our senses. And to finish off the meal we were given and explosive one bite cleanse of the palate.  I've never experienced such an excitement of a meal. D'Angelo is a must to visit. If we lived here it would definitely be our go to restaurant.  The owner Denise and her husband, he is the chef, have made their mark on the res...
