Never felt compelled to write a review until now... The food at Casa Frida is ok but it could possibly be the chintziest and cheapest restaurant there is (in terms of what they serve).My husband and I ordered the supreme fajitas to share, which comes with 4 tortillas (fine with me). But see this picture of the fixings - a pinch of lettuce, pico de gallo, a little cheese and a dollop of sour cream. That it for 4 fajitas. For more, you have to pay!But what really got me was when I asked for fixings for my sons tacos which he ordered off the kids menu. The tacos came naked - tortilla with meat, and the rice and beans on the side. In my experience, tacos (whether they're kids or not, from chipolte or somewhere nicer) always come with a little cheese, tomatoes and lettuce. The server told me that I could pay for fixings for my son. And she told me only "real people" get the fixings. I said, my son is a real person. And she said, kids don't get cheese because they don't like it. And I replied back, well my son likes cheese. And...

Been many years since I've been here and totally regret it! Hands down the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been too...the mole, ceviche, guacamole, EVERYTHING IS OUTSTANDING!!! Will be back much sooner!!
