This is a Pizza review only. My brother, Dad, and I were coming back from Des Moines, and were hankering for a takeout meal to bring home. They both voted for a Casey's Pizza (called ahead) and not really knowing that one of Iowa's big convenience stores also had their own Pizza making operation, I went along, if only for the curiosity factor. Our combo pizza (hold the olives) was actually quite good, delivered hot and fresh, and definitely a step above the Little Caesars/Dominos variety in my non-expert culinary opinion. Having a good selection of craft beer at home also added to this positive experience. I'm sure a few local Pizza hounds will question the degree of my positivity here, so I await the alternate suggestions on what is the ultimate pie in Ames.
