My maternal grandpa and his rum cakes happened to cross my mind. He used to be booked completely solid two weeks before Thanksgiving through New Year's Day. He sold them like crazy. They were so awesome, people actually gave them as gifts. So, oddly enough I am at a liquor store thinking about my grandpa. I had no idea what kind of rum, so one of the employees lead me in (hopefully) the right direction. I had no idea there were different kinds of rum. If I was an alcoholic, I would probably give this place 5 stars. This place is located right across the street from Country Inn and Suites. Walking distance but I think they close early. Don't quote me on that. It's not like it is here in the ATL. Early closing times for a lot of places in Knoxville. Prices: Prices here is totally different and slightly higher than here. A 6 pack of Budweiser was nearly $9.00 so you all do the math. By the time I bought the beer I needed as well as a styrofoam cooler to keep in my room on ice and a couple of packs of cigs, I've already hit $50 plus. I'm glad they kept me busy at the shooting area to shoot that film or I would have really let go of some money in that store. Beverages: This place is small compared to some ATL mega package s...

Located on Cross Park road, it's pretty easy to find. Once you turn into the stuffed street, turn last at the dialysis place. There is a small Cedar Bluff discount sign at the entrance to the parking lot. There is parking right in front of the building, including handicapped, but it is on a pretty good downward angle. It's not terrible, but mobility impaired people may have difficulty. Walking in puts you near the whiskey, etc. Wine is to the left, and beer in the back. Overall selection is good, but not the best I've seen. They do have some lesser known brands, and prices are as good as any and better than most. The staff was friendly and efficient. Overall a pleasant experience.
