Chama Gaúcha in Houston

My husband took me here for my birthday and OMG... it was the best Brazilian restaurant to date.  We always go to Texas de Brazil but I think hand down the best seasoning out of all the brazilian restaurant.  I love that they actually celebrate my birthday allowing to me pick any desert I like.  We went to Texas de Brazil and they could care less it was my birthday.  This place has such amazing fast service!  It was totally worth it.  I can't wait to come back to it.

I hadn't been to a Brazilian steakhouse in like two years just before the pandemic. I had been to Fogo de Chao numerous times in several years n had been here just once about two years ago. I went here for lunch earlier close to two o'clock. All the Meats, Fruits and Chocolate Lava Cake for the dessert were fantastic, very delicious and high quality. I asked for mine medium rare when the guys were coming around. All the Sirloin cuts, Picanha, NY Strip, Filet, Ribeye, Sausage, Chicken and Shrimp were all very well seasoned, very juicy and tender. You could really taste all of the meats themselves, but none were bland, bc they seasoned them just right imo. You knew it was prepped right with a good amount of salt, etc., but not to an overdone degree. The only cut I wasn't too big on was the Beef Rib, which is weird bc that's one of my top favorite things to eat when it comes to TX Bbq along with Brisket. It was good quality, well seasoned n very juicy, but it tasted like pot roast imo, which I'm not a fan of to begin with.  The Lamb Chop was a bit gamier in taste than I remember, but still very good with a touch of chimichurri on it. Either way, the food was awesome and the beef rib was still good, just not my favorite of all the great cuts I got. I really liked the chimichurri sauce, bananas and pineapple pieces a lot with the meal. The chimichurri was great n very well made. The fruits were very fresh, very good quality, very well cooked and pretty sweet. Went to a girlfriends birthday celebration at Chama Gaucha in Houston TX. Boy oh boy it was a delightful experience. I just love dinner parties, you get to dress up, eat, drink and be merry! Who doesn't love that?! Lol I kept an empty stomach so I could fill up at dinner time. All the meats I tried were just right, I'm a well done type of girl.
