Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen in Arlington

Last night about 6:30/6:45pm we visited this location with a party of 5. Before I could tell the hostess how many people were in our party she told me that it would be a 45 minute wait and then I wouldn't get my food for at least 30 minutes once we sat at our table. I told her we would wait for our table and we have 5 people in our party. While we're waiting about 10 minutes the hostess then told me that our food would take 45 minutes to come out once we were seated at our table. I said ok we will wait for our table. I used to be a frequent visitor of Cheddar's but it's been many years. I stopped here on a whim late on a Friday night wanting something close by. I sat at the bar and was immediately greeted. I could hear the bartenders having conversation which wasn't professional or appropriate to have on the job. It does seem that many of the workers are friends and like to talk and hang in between their working. But the dinner I ordered was so good I had to leave the review as four Stars still. They give you a free honey butter croissant before your meal now and it was divine! I was tempted to order three or four more, they were that good. My meal was the blackened salmon with seasoned rice and broccoli and cheese casserole. Everything was oh sooooo good! The portions were huge, the price was great, But the workers and even a few of the other guests could be upgraded. I'll have to look past some of that because I will definitely be back!

I ordered online and when I parked and checked in, I sat for 10 minutes without anyone coming. I had to go in to get it. And when I went in they didn't even notice that I checked in. I was in between clients and didn't have a lot of time. I had to eat really fast.
