I thought the food was quite good. A lot of "Ethiopian" places you get low quality, overcooked meat and bland sauces. This is definitely not one of those places. All of the ingredients seemed fresh and the dishes were well prepared and flavorful. Not my top pick, but definitely will return.

This has been my go to spot for over a decade! I have tried many other local Ethiopian restaurants over the years, but none compare with Chef's consistency, quality/quantity or price point. The owners/staff treat my family like old friends when we come in and are attentive to their customer's needs. I truly appreciate the dedication to consistency of flavors (because I dislike surprises when it comes to my food!). I am always confident that I can take my friends and family to Chef Cafe and they never disappoint! If you came here for the food, then you came to the best in Seattle!
