We have been here multiple times and have gotten oysters before. In the past on the menu the listed price was for a full dozen. This time we went off the listed price but it was actually for HALF a dozen. Not a dozen. Nowhere was this stated. They’ve changed the menu format it appears. And unlike every other restaurant when they list the price of oysters they sneakily list what appears to be a dozen oysters as only half a dozen. Most expensive oysters we have ever eaten! And they aren’t even very good. What a disappointment. The menu format is very deceiving. If we knew how much a dozen would cost we wouldn’t have ordered them. Posting this so no one else makes this costly mistake. Very disappointed. Menu is deceptive. The food isn’t very good either. Not a whole lot of flavor, especially the broiled platter. We are always disappointed after we eat here, but being one of the only seafood restaurants in the area we keep coming back. Never again. Mediocre at best and super expensive. There are much better restaurants in the area if you are going to spend this kind of money.
We came for brunch on Sunday, January 26th @ 11:30. Disappointed because of the following reasons. The coffee was weak and our server did not offer us a refill. We had to ask. The muffins in the basket fell apart because they were so hot. I ordered the salmon eggs benedict and it did not have any seasoning what so ever. Very bland. The potato cake was disappointing as well. I truly expected so much more from a restaurant of this caliber. Is there some explanation for this?
Fantastic food, atmosphere and staff! I believe I have a new "favorite restaurant"! My friend and I celebrated our birthdays this evening at the new Parkside Drive venue; and it did not disappoint. I had the blackened sea scallops, which were perfect; and my friend enjoyed the fried shrimp. One of the managers, I believe his name was Matt, stopped by our table to check on us. He was very nice and offered a complimentary birthday dessert, which totally unexpected. Summary, I give this restaurant five stars!!!!
