We're visiting Asheville and came across this fabulous restaurant. I cannot properly express how pleasant our dining experience was. The menu wascompact, varied, and mouth watering. It has some mainstays but the options change due to the farm to table/seasonal availability. The cocktails were good, but the food itself was outstanding, shrimp and grits? Delicious! Filet mignon... cooked to perfection, and the crawfish cakes? I would murder for another. The service was also outstanding, friendly , efficient and knowledgeable. All set in a lovely atmosphere. This is a must stop restaurant and will become a regular on our visits to Asheville.

Visited from out of town. Hands down best meal in Asheville. Beautiful chef designed menu. Every plate was perfect and balanced and beautifully presented. Super cool place and wonderful service staff. 10/10

Lovely experience at Chestnut. My husband raved over the Kobe beef burger and truffle fries. The apple cider sorbet was exceptional as well!
