Vegetarians or vegans stay clear. They don't know and don't care about meat broth in their sauces (typical for a lot of recipes); seems to be a don't ask, don't tell policy for that.EDIT: There you have it, straight from the owner. Small businesses can't cater to everyone so there are other options if you don't wanna eat animals in Ann Arbor. I'm sure the menu is lovely if you don't care about that.

Food was very greasy and staff was very rude, bad experience.

I ordered from Chia Shiang restaurant last week. This place has been my go-to for Chinese food for a few years now, but it's been about 6 months since I last ordered from here. Apparently, in that last 6 months, their food quality took a complete 180... Other than my food tasting absolutely bland & disgusting, there was a sucker & stick of mint Wrigley's gum floating in my General Tso's Chicken. The entire dish tasted minty. Gross. The Crab Rangoons were soggy, the Sweet And Sour Chicken was neither sweet nor sour. Honestly, the best part were the fortune cookies. And even those were stale. I understand the sucker/gum was provided as an after-dinner palate cleanser, but come on... they could have put them in the plastic bag that my food containers came in. Fortunately, I ordered via EatStreet, so I was able to get a refund. I will not be ordering from here anytime soon.
