I have loved this Chick Filet for as long as it was built in this location at Twin Creeks in Allen, TX. However, recently, all employees stopped wearing any masks. As a person whose age puts me in the most vulnerable population for COVID 19, I've had one vaccination that made me very sick. My internist said not to get the second one. So I wear a mask everywhere and haven't even had a cold since 2019. When the Chick Filet employees stopped wearing ALL masks, whether inside the restaurant or out, I became concerned. When I ordered at the drive-thru, I wore my mask and asked the attendants to STOP leaning INTO my SUV! When I dined inside, an employee came right up to my table and stood inches away WHILE I WAS EATING and NOT wearing a mask, asking if he could help me. These employees usually range in age from their teens to their twenties, so THEY are NOT in the vulnerable population. Supposedly they are all vaccinated, but we know from news stories, that's MAKES NO DIFFERENCE in the transmission of the latest variant. Many people FULLY vaccinated AND boosted have become very sick! I spoke to the manager, who said there would be no change to this policy. Therefore, my fast food choice has switched to a highly-rated McDonald's, where ALL employees wear masks, thank goodness. P.S. The chicken fingers were full of grease a few weeks ago = YUK!
