Years ago, this used to be my fave nearby Peruvian chicken spot. While their pollo is still okay, the service has gone veryyy downhill. They seriously do not give a damn about providing good customer service! I don't recall ever having a such difficult time ordering food at DINNER time in any other place in the area as I do at chicken pollo. It's now been way too many times that Ive gone anywhere from 6:30-7:45pm on different days of the week, and have been turned away because "we have run out of food". Literally. That's their excuse. It's 7:30pm on a Thursday night, there are like 20 ppl still waiting in that tiny waiting area, and they have run out of rice and chicken." But we still have leftover coleslaw and beans". Um, no thanks. If running out of literal FOOD at 7:30pm is such a problem for them, why not switch their hours? Or simply just serve the lunch crowd and save everyone the trouble.
