Updated with caution. China Gourmet has changed ownership. English name has not changed, but Chinese name is now 福州风味小吃. You can't find 喜富来 Taiwanese food anymore. It's kind of unfortunate. I watched the restaurant struggled during CoVid-19 restaurant shutdown of 2020. I rarely walk to the mall entrance at Dynasty Plaza because of traffic hassle. Few months ago, I was alerted by a Yelper who loves to explore Chinatown. She/he messaged me to say "hey, check it out... China Gourmet serves Cantonese food." Well, not even close. Fuzhou is the capitol of Fujian. That's closer to Taiwan than Guandong. The menu has few Fujianese items. Another blogger said it's not authentic. I didn't care because I never had Fujianese food. Menu is well categorized and there are photos on the wall. Most items ran out that afternoon I visited. But I was able to inquire about the dish I ate. Flat Meat 扁肉 = a unique wonton soup made with wrappers thinner than wonton wrap. Meat is not flat. Just a name. Xiao Long Bao = small steamed buns. They ran out of other items I wanted. So I settled with this tiny buns. Tasted ok. I'll be back to try other items if I am lucky after they improved the score with Health Departme...

The stinky tofu is gone. No more oyster pancake. No black pepper steak skillets. Apparently the previous owner retired and took her menu with her. Skip Xiao long Bao (no soup), noodles in peanut sauce made us sick, and the taro cake was drenched in oil. Not a good experience.
