Just ordered this last night. We had the spicy fish stew, and lo Mein and they were both so good!!! Probably the best lo mein I've ever had.

I am visiting Houston and decided to try this restaurant. I ordered carry out. This is the absolute worst "Chinese" food I've ever had. Food out of the freezer of the grocery store is far better than this food today. Word of CAUTION.........DO NOT eat at China Inn on Jones Rd if you are looking for GOOD food. I ordered egg drop soup which was ok. Hot and Sour soup which was definitely off on flavor and could not be eaten. Seafood soup was unidentifiable as "seafood" soup. The texture was like a can of potted meat was opened and stirred into the rice, and the taste would have gagged a maggot. Finally, the Szechuan beef was the best thing of the entire order. It had a good taste and flavor. But who knows with the inedible food attempt prior, it may have only been marginally good. Well I say all of this to make you aware of how terrible the food is at China Inn Cafe. I truly hate that not only did I w...
