In moments when I realize I'm a junior high teacher, I don't have a working shower and that, somehow, Ted Cruz is still my senator, I consider suicide. When I realize how much work that would be, I venture to the neighborhood I grew up in - undercover. China Star is where I come to fat-girl-eat when I don't want anyone to know. I'm going to eat all of my feelings and then, if I'm lucky, barf all of this up. (Barf isn't as messy as suicide.) It's easy to be undercover here - there are no lights in the parking lot. Perfect for being incognito or.....getting held up at gun point......it could go either way and the Russian Roulette of it all is half the fun of coming here.
