Nice little restaurant. The menu is huge! I found it a little odd they had sushi and Japanese beer (Asahi, Kirin) but no complaints on the beer bit.And apparently they no longer serve sushi, even though it’s still on the menu.Portions seemed good! Kung Pao Triple came with a small bowl of soup as well as an egg roll.Staff was super friendly, hostess kept me company while I waited for a ride. If you’re i the area and looking for Chinese…!

China Town has always been my go to for Chinese food when in Kerrville. I use to order the shrimp with vegetables and enjoyed it very much. The rice and egg rolls were great too.However..I now have to eat gluten free. This restaurant is not very familiar with GF and that's OK. What is NOT OK is telling me most things are GF as long as they are not fried. This does have some truth in it as long as no soy sauce was used. Most items Including the fried rice and soups, do have soy sauce in them. The soy sauce they use is not gluten free. It would have been better for them to check before assuming most things are safe.I decided to try the Pad Thai as it is rice noodles. I have eaten tons of Pad Thai at many locations throughout several states and have NEVER EVER EVER encountered Pad Thai like I did tonight. It was awful. It tasted like they just mixed some rice noodles with sweet & sour sauce. I didn't even eat half of it because it was that bad.If you are GF... good luck eating here.

Hungry for Chinese food, tired of eating chicken, and craving comfort food, I ordered Beef Lo Mein at China Town Restaurant. My friend ordered Cashew Chicken with fried rice. Of course, we had hot tea with our meal! This was all for lunch, but I always take a box home for a leftover dinner. Yum! Generous portions, an attentive waiter, and reasonable pricing just adds to the relaxing atmosphere of this place! Order from a wide variety of choices, or, have a daily special. A Chinese food lover's paradise awaits in Kerrville!
