Chicken and rice gave me food poisoning. It tasted good, so I don't quite know what was wrong with it

This was the second time I gave this place a shot thinking maybe it tasted bland last time because I asked for no msg, nope. I got the chicken chow mein and the potstickers. The chow mein was bland and only had like 6 little pieces of chicken in it. The potstickers were super doughy, with very little filling, also not flavorful. One thing is, they're consistent, consistently bland. It's like they're trying to save money and still charge for a normal dish.
