I want to start by saying... I KNOW the service is terrible - one of the quirks of the place. The sandwiches USED TO make up for the terrible service, but the last few times I have been there have shown the need to actually leave a review. For the $14 price of the sandwich - you should at lease get what you order - ordered the Panini expecting a grilled or pressed sandwich on sourdough - received a sandwich on white toast so hard and dry that I could not bite through it. Waitress brought "the panini" to the table and I laughed and just said it was a sandwich on toast and she said they were out of Sourdough bread - which doesn't really change the toast quality or the sandwich order. Eh - Richmond. Time for new management or a reinvention of the menu - my guess is the sandwich makers used to be much better - making up for the other quirks.

Chiocca's is one of our favorite "go to" spots, and now that they allow dining in, we will be visiting more often. Each time we have visited, their quality of food has always been fantastic.
