***THIS IS A MUST READ*** So in December someone posted about paying it forward with friends and going to breakfast and leaving one lucky waitress a super big tip. So I posted in FB to see if anyone wanted to do this with me and I got a great response. So I made a reservation for 20 people at CHRIS' FAMILY RESTAURANT. Yesterday I called (because I worry about everything) to verify my reservation only to find they don't have one for me. The girl said she could give me a reservation and I asked that a manager call me back just to verify. The OWNER called me back and said "did you just call her for a reservation for 20 for Saturday" I said "no I called back to VERIFY my reservation for tomorrow". Long story short he proceeded to tell me that I should have NEVER just given my reservation to anyone that answers the phone. Who did I speak to and how did I think this was ok, I should have asked to speak to a manager to make my reservation. I told him that I didn't have the name but I could tell him the time and day I called. I asked if he could accommodate us or not and he couldn't really answer me. He was very hung up on the fact that I didn't handle this the way he thought I should have versus being customer focused and apologetic about not having my resvervati...
