Church's Chicken in Arcola

If I were the first time having Church Chicken. I will never come back to this franchise again. The chicken is nor juice nor crispy. Please change the oil more frequently.

This location is the first time I've actually ordered and sat down to eat inside a Church's. I usually run home with it to share. The parking lot is shared with Little Caesar's Pizza right next door. The way the interior is set up makes it a little hard to stay in queue to order when there are a just a handful of people. There are a decent amount of tables for dine in guests and two trash bins on each side of the building. As I placed an order for a fish fry combo ($2.99) that includes 2 pieces of lemon pepper fish, fries, + hush puppies, I was then informed that they ran out of hush puppies and would substitute with 2 honey biscuits. The staff person also noted that they were out of the fried shrimp. I went ahead and ordered the fish anyway plus a box of original legs and thighs to share with my party. I was given a bunch of hot sauce upon request as well as paper plates and napkins. The tables could use some TLC as most of the ones available were not cleaned up after messy customers and the floor had tiny bits of fried chicken skin here and there. We thought that the chicken was good but not as great as the boxes we've brought home previously at another location. The skin was perfectly crisp and the meat was juicy but somehow it lacked flavor. On the other hand, the lemon pepper fish was strongly flavored but beyond the batter, the fish itself was mushy. The fries were not seasoned and typical of frozen french fries. Though I was looking forward to trying the hush puppies, I was happy with the honey biscuits. They were deliciously addicting with a light coat of honey. I wonder if the fried chic...

Yesterday, I came here and ordered a #8 (Fish Filet Meal) and I got fries for my side. When I got home, I realized that the meal also comes with tartar sauce and a biscuit, which I did not get. I went back and ordered six biscuits, which had a pinch of honey and then they were burnt. The customer service was the only thing I appreciated.
