Citra is hands down the best place to study on the Ave. The Boba, Senzu bean, and froyo are all delicious and reasonably priced. All the employees are super sweet and really seem to care about making the customers feel at home! Comfortable seating and calming music make the whole experience even better!

I think they changed owners a couple of months ago, but they are still super friendly! They had some great deals for students during finals week last quarter which was amazing like free senzu bean coffee (super strong!)! I wish they had as many rooibos tea options as before but it's still one of my favorite places to study on the Ave.

Green tea lattes used to be made with matcha powder, but the ones I've gotten since the old owner retired have just been barely-steeped green tea bags mixed with milk. The regular coffee lattes also are more watery and seem to not be made with as many shots as in the past. Mochas taste both weaker and less sweet. The new owner also has been removing all the cute decorations and comfortable furniture that made the cafe feel so cozy and homey. It just doesn't have the same vibe as the Citra I've gone to f...
