Oh man. The beers were cold and tasty, the service was great and the food was phenomenal. We had the French dip au jus and the Reuben. Thanks guys!

My boyfriend and I are new to Seattle and were in search of a new hangout for drinks/food. I found this place on Yelp and decided to come here. I had a question before going in so I called and spoke to Jen. She was so sweet and nice over the phone. When we got there, Jen happened to be our server. When I say that we have never met someone so sweet and genuine in our lives, we mean it. She totally made the experience for us. Columbia City Ale House is the kind of place that by appearance looks like you go there for good drinks and the food is an afterthought. That could not be further from the truth. I ordered the steak sandwich and my boyfriend the tuna melt. The food was INCREDIBLE. The steak was tender in a soft roll and the tuna melt so flavorful. Both accompanied with a side of tasty potato salad. If you're looking for a local hangout with great drinks and food, we highly recommend it! I think we found our new Friday night hangout :-)
