We drive 3 hours round trip just to have food at this Connie's. I first started coming here in mid '80s when business was in early days. 1st up if you don't want a long wait Saturday and Sunday is not the days for you. The have the best best shrimp fried rice in Houston. Now on to the seafood..you should stick with Texas seafood if you want quality. Do be aware that if you get seafood you should be make sure as to market price. They do not serve poor quality seafood but market prices could be a shock to you. The shrimp and fish were fried with quality fresh oil and tasty batter. Over the years we have had every item on their menu. I encourage you to choose your exact fish prepared to one of many customized styles that they prepare. This is a casual atmosphere that for their style of seafood is among the best Texas has to offer.
