Got Gordon as our waiter and connoisseur. He guided us through the menus, answered questions in a really nice manner, and gave us suggestions about wine, and even offered us to taste different wines before we finally choose ours for the food, which was phenomenal! We chose as appetizers Crab & Lobster Bisque, Drunken Shrimp, and as an entree Short Rib Mushroom Risotto. Gordon is definitely a guy you would invite to a dinner, and knowing the conversations about food and wine would never end.

Very nice place for a date anytime or the year, but preferably Winter. The setting is warm and homey in a way. The selection of wines are amazing. I usually end up leaving with 1 bottle and coming back to the bar another day for 1 more. It’s great. The lobster bisque was flavorful, soy ginger salmon was glazed perfectly and not over cooked, and the parmesan shrimp scampi was simply amazing.

I've dined at Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant twice within the past few months.  My first visit was really good and warranted a return visit. My dining companion and I arrived for what I expected to be the same or better experience as the first time; sadly it was not.  We were warmly greeted by a manager and seated.  We decided against ordering appetizers because the flat bread with sausage we had during the first visit had a bizarre aftertaste so we only ate a portion of it which was a waste of money.  I wanted to try the beignets but they could not be ordered with the crab filling.  Although the manager stated the food is freshly prepared to order but the beignets could not be made as I wanted.  Instead of ordering something else, we just ate the pretzel bread with butter which hit the spot because we were starving. My dining companion ordered a cheeseburger with fries.  It looked great, but for the onions I would have tasted it. I ordered the same meal as my first visit, Shrimp and Scallop Risotto without onions, chives, shallots, scallions, sweet corn and peas.  When the risotto was served, it had an odd appearance with a tan cover / skin and lots of oil.  Despite the appearance which was not appetizing, I took a few bites and was not happy with it.  While the risotto was hot and creamy, it had too much oil and contained onions that I did not want.  Additionally, it was topped with three sea...
