If negative stars were a thing it would be appropriate and fitting for Costa Vida. We had a horrible experience when they first opened and it took us over a year before we returned. My husband and 2 year old son went in to pick up our dinner tonight and the lady making our food called my son a devil bastard in Spanish. My son was excited about the bubbles the pans were making and was overjoyed with how fun it was to watch. The costa vida worker must have been annoyed by this and called him a devil bastard to the rest of the staff who just started laughing. Highly inappropriate and uncomfortable. We will not be returning and encourage others to avoid this restaurant. Family friendly is far from how I would describe this establishment.
