Crackin' Crab in Albuquerque

Not bad.... the crackin sauce is tasty. However the crab legs were over boiled and were mostly empty. The non existent meat shreds were stuck to the shell, because of this all of the legs except 3 of them had to be thrown in the trash. Scallops are definitely on the SUPER small side. Also most of the clams were not opened up... so that was more food that had to be thrown in the trash. As you know it is not safe to eat clams that do not open up when cooked. We ordered extra corn, potatoes and sausage. This is a must because the boil bags only come with 1 item of each. We expected the extra items ordered to also be put in the bag with the sauce like the other potato, corn and sausage. However we received these extra sides bland and just regular boiled with no sauce in a separate bag. We added them to the bag with the other potato, corn and sausage that were with the seafood however there was not enough crackin sauce. So all of the extras that we ordered on the side we're not tasty it was basically just boiled potatoes, corn and sausage. Looked very unappetizing. Kind employees and tasty sauce. Hopefully the cook in the back will make some changes to prevent the customer from having to waste money by throwing out food.

Used to love this place. Placed our usual order to go today 1lb scallops 1lb headless shrimp. Brought them home and after trying a few scallops they were so fishy we couldn't eat them. Called and was told by manager Maria to bring them back if we wanted any kind of refund. Brought everything back, was treated rudely. Maria only wanted to refund for 1/2 lb of scallops. No shrimp refund. I explained that the shrimp were mixed in with the scallops and if the scallops were bad then the shrimp could be too. I was grossed out. Best seafood bag I've ever had! Always fresh, scallops are my favorite, the shrimp is is the best, crab legs never disappoints and that lemon pepper mild sauce is to die for! There is no competition to this place! To top it off the staff is awesome! Crackin' Crab is the BEST!!!!
